SmythOS Weekly Update: Improvements & Bug Fixes (July 14–20, 2025)

Changelog July 14

This week’s SmythOS update is focused on making your experience smoother and more consistent. While there are no new features this sprint, we’ve made several important improvements and fixes to help you work more efficiently and avoid confusion.

Clearer Data Display When Info Is Missing

We improved how the UI handles missing data by showing “N/A” consistently when the ‘nextCrawlAt’ value is missing. This means no more guessing or empty spaces, which helps you understand your data status at a glance.

Faster, More Responsive Chat with Agents

We reduced latency in the “Chat with Agent” feature. You’ll notice your conversations feel snappier and more responsive, helping you get answers and support faster.

Simplified User Role Management

To make administration easier, we removed the separate “Manage Roles” tab and added a “Manage Roles” button directly on the User Management page. This keeps all user and role management in one place, saving you clicks and making navigation simpler.

UI Improvements for Component Size and Error Messaging

We adjusted the interface to prevent error messages like “fix with AI” from jumping onto new lines, and clarified component boundaries. This makes the interface cleaner and helps you avoid confusion when something needs fixing.

Important Bug Fixes

  • 500 Error Fix When Deleting Pinecone Data Spaces
Fixed a server error that was blocking deletion of Pinecone-backed data spaces, so you can now manage and remove data spaces without issues.
  • Share Modal Seat Warning Restored
The warning modal that alerts you when you’re out of seats during the invite process is back, preventing surprise errors and keeping your team management smooth.
  • Signup Email Error Label Fix
The email error label now disappears properly when you clear the input during signup, avoiding confusion and making signup cleaner.
