This week’s SmythOS release is focused and significant. The team added support for Anthropic’s latest flagship model, Claude Opus 4.5, making it available throughout the platform wherever you configure AI models. Sometimes one well-placed addition is all a sprint needs.
New Features
Claude Opus 4.5 Model Support Across SmythOS
Claude Opus 4.5 is now available everywhere in SmythOS, where you can select an AI model. This includes agent creation, workflow steps, automation tasks, and model settings in the Vault. Anthropic’s most advanced and intelligent model is ready to use in your builds.
Opus 4.5 sits at the top of the Claude 4.5 family, which also includes Sonnet 4.5 and Haiku 4.5. If you’ve been using earlier Claude versions in your agents, you can now switch to Opus 4.5 to access improved reasoning capabilities and the latest features Anthropic has shipped.
Documentation has been updated to reflect the new model option, so you’ll find guidance on when and how to use it alongside the other available models.
How this helps you
- Access Anthropic’s most capable model directly within your SmythOS workflows.
- Build agents that leverage improved reasoning and intelligence for complex tasks.
- Choose from the full Claude 4.5 lineup based on your speed, cost, and capability needs.
Try These Updates
- Open an existing agent and switch its model to Claude Opus 4.5 to compare responses.
