This week’s SmythOS update is focused on making it easier for you to deploy, test, and navigate your agents. From managing embodiments directly within deployments to better support for automated testing, these improvements help you move faster with less friction.
Manage Embodiments Without Leaving Your Deployment Screen
You’ll find a new Embodiments panel at the bottom of every deployment screen. Now you can view and manage your agent’s linked embodiments without switching tabs or losing focus. This keeps your workflow smooth and uninterrupted.
Automated Testing Just Got Easier
If your team uses tools like Playwright or Cypress, you’ll appreciate the new stable data-qa locators added to key elements on the My Plan page. This makes writing and maintaining automated tests simpler, helping your QA keep pace with your releases.
Cleaner Chat Interface
The attach icon has been removed from the Test sidebar and most agent chat views (except Weaver). This small change reduces clutter and keeps the interface focused on your conversations during tests and support sessions.
Expanded Automation Support Across SmythOS
We added unique locators to important components in the Vault, like toggles and setup buttons, making your automated flows more reliable—especially in complex or multi-step views. We also extended automation support to the Home screen with new data-qa identifiers on core UI elements, ensuring consistent end-to-end testing.
Faster Performance on Core Pages
You’ll notice that pages such as Home, Vault, and Deployments now load more quickly and respond more smoothly. These behind-the-scenes optimizations help reduce wait times as you navigate your workspace.
