Hello! I’m a Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for tackling complex challenges at the intersection of AI and high-performance computing. My journey in ML spans over 8 years, built on a 15-year career in software engineering.

At SmythOS, my primary focus is training Agent Weaver, our innovative AI for creating intelligent agents and workflows. I’m responsible for developing and refining the custom models that power it—a challenge I truly enjoy, especially when it involves pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to achieve greater speed and accuracy.

My strength lies in combining ML expertise with a deep background in systems programming (C++, Python). It’s one thing to build a model, but another to make it run efficiently. For example, at the medical startup Darmiyan.com, I developed a data normalization technique for X-ray images that was key to stabilizing our models for their FDA approval pipeline. At another company, I built an entire grid-search framework from scratch on AWS SageMaker for NLP model tuning.

I’m comfortable across the full stack of AI development—from preparing text datasets with Hugging Face to optimizing GPU data transfer with NVlink and porting C++ libraries with WebAssembly. I enjoy diving deep into the code to create AI solutions that are not only intelligent but also robust and scalable.

When I’m not deep in code or data, I dedicate my time to spiritual practices. I find the mindfulness and discipline from these practices bring a unique balance and focus to my technical work, helping me approach complex problems with a clear and creative mindset.
