The first time I touched a computer mouse, my hand was shaking. I was a quiet teenager in a small photo printing shop, watching someone work in Adobe Photoshop. We couldn’t afford a computer, but I could follow steps—and something about it just made sense to me.

I started with graphic design, learning from video tutorials shared by a neighbor. Over time, I discovered programming—beginning with HTML and CSS, then moving into JavaScript and PHP for WordPress. Later, I taught myself the MERN stack to build full web applications from scratch. When learning JavaScript, I focused deeply on the fundamentals, which made it much easier to pick up other languages like PHP, Python, and Java.

I once dreamed of becoming a poet—that dream never really left me. So when I first saw WordPress’s slogan, “Code is Poetry,” something clicked.

What started as a way to earn money has become a mission. I now see software engineering as a powerful tool to solve real-world problems and create meaningful change. My goal today is not just to build software, but to create systems that help people live better lives—both in this world and beyond.
