From an early age, I have always been obsessed with reading sci-fi and fantasy.
Cutting my teeth on the “Young Legionary” series, by Douglas Arthur Hill.
This helped grow my imagination and made me constantly wonder about the potential of all of us.
Blip forward to when I started in Information Technology…
Now things were getting real!
The internet was becoming a thing, and we could finally start to access, share, and enhance all the information, that was not really connected until this point.
And you know what they say… “Science Fiction, Science Fact. All it takes is time.”
Seems Asimov was right on the money!
Machine Learning, Automation, Data Analysis, etc…
The foundational tech of AI had been around for a while.
And for some years, I worked on projects involving experiential marketing, data visualization, and insights and technology in the Digital Marketing space.
But something was still missing…
Bake for a few years, to the early 2020s, and the explosion of AI.
Now we were starting to cook!
Never has there been a more interesting time in Digital Technology.
And, now more than ever, we have a responsibility to assist and help others learn, so that we can all take advantage of this incredible technology, for the betterment of humankind.
